About David Chappell, MD


David Chappell, MD, at the Institute for Health Management Aesthetics in Petaluma, California, is board-certified in internal medicine and endocrinology.

After earning his undergraduate degree at Austin College in Sherman, Texas, Dr. Chappell studied at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Barnes Hospital, affiliated with the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Chappell decided to continue his medical education and complete an endocrinology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.

After practicing for 25 years as an endocrinologist and a weight-loss specialist, Dr. Chappell continues to keep up-to-date with the newest and most advanced technologies such as SculpSureⓇ, a treatment which sculpts and shapes the body, and TempSure™ Vitalia and Envi, treatments using radiofrequency to promote skin rejuvenation. About Nayabei Barretto, FNP

Nayabei Barretto, who goes by Naya, is a board certified nurse practitioner. She has been working in aesthetics since 2017 and holds as guiding principles to provide effective natural looking results in the safest way possible. She believes the best treatment is one that enhances a person’s natural beauty. If she had to choose one procedure as the most rewarding to perform, it would have to be lip filler.

Naya obtained her nurse practitioner degree from Sonoma State University and prior to this, she obtained a masters in public health from UC Berkeley. She completed her studies in nursing and visual arts at Carroll College in Montana.

Naya is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and has an elementary knowledge of Chinese. During her free time she enjoys foraging for edible mushrooms, riding horses, making art and dancing tango.
